Ride Malibu Creek State Park (Updated date) 6/23/12
Update: Sorry for the mix up everyone. The correct date for the event is Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Malibu Creek State Park.
Come out this Saturday (6/2/2012) (6/23/2012) to Malibu Creek State Park and help two non-profits, Mountain Restoration Trust and Heal the Bay restore the Malibu Creek Watershed and remove invasive plants and weeds. Volunteers and organizers will meet in the parking lot and start the 1-2 mile (about 15 minutes) bike ride to various locations along a fire road. The terrain is fairly flat with one hill to crest but please make sure to bring your bicycle and helmet.
In addition, sunscreen, a hat, work shoes, and water are all great things to bring. Tools and gloves will be provided. Participants must sign up at the Heal the Bay website before attending. Hope to see you there!
