Bringing new fire power to the LADOT Bike Blog: Jordan Miles, Eve Sanford, and Severin Martinez
Its almost officially summer time, and that means many of our interns are moving on (we’ll have updates on their individual stories soon), while others are enjoying a little rest and relaxation post graduation. So while its been a busy summer for the LADOT Bike Program, the blog has conversely been a little lite on content. We’re hoping to address that with the addition of some new folks to our blogging team.
Jojo Pewsawang remains our lead blogger for the time being, but you can expect to see fewer posts from him while we have him take on more of an editor’s role. Do expect, however, to see more posts from Eve Sanford and our two newest interns, Severin Martinez and Jordan Miles. Eve is an undergraduate student at Cal Poly Pomona studying Urban and Regional Planning, and has been working with our team since this past winter. Severin has been a frequent comment-er to the blog and is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley studying Urban Studies (as well as a frequent bike rack requester). Both are avid bicyclists and convinced us to bring them on board despite our normal reliance on graduate students–but they’re passionate about bicycling and we appreciate that. Jordan Miles rounds out our summer blogging team, and is a graduate Planning student at USC. He brings strong organizational skills and will be helping us share Bicycle Plan Implementation Team news and updates on a more regular basis. All three, though, will be addressing a wide variety of news and updates; and, you’ll still see an update now and then from myself and the rest of the team (stay tuned!).

Its great to hear that there are interns at ladotbikeblog that are avid cyclists and are passionate about bicycling.
