The Ballona Creek bike path will receive thermoplastic markings similar to the new Orange Line extension path
The Ballona Creek Bike Path between National Boulevard and Overland Avenue will be closed starting Monday, August 27 through Friday, August 31 from 7 AM to 4 PM. During this temporary closure, maintenance work (tree trimming, graffiti removal, concrete repair, and the addition of trail markings using thermoplastic) will be conducted. Signage will be posted at the Overland Ave., Duquesne Ave. and National Blvd. entrances to alert path users about the closure.

Awesome revamp! Now, if they could just put up some signs at those same streets indicating the names of those exits!

Good chance to chime in to revise my claim about how much gps costs now- teh last unit I saw was ten bucks and ran on aa batteries was military grade durable adn compact enough to keep in your dress shirt pocket despite being oneof the first models. it had no connecitivtiy other then a backlit screen. but it would tell yo uwhere you are and with a bit of mapping data ony our graphical display device or paper you wouldnt’ need to ake your eye of f travic to read the singage or ont catch teh graffitti.
I would appreciate more notice personally of the deadline to read what someone might have risk arrest to say- i hope somone films it and vimeop’s it for posterity.
THe pothole’s gettin gfilled are incidental- it’s death dates and such that jusifty the expense to mop off of public accesss. and to think it takes shoootings to bring out the boards to write on- and then tehy get locked up i nwarehouses foro i guess alien invaders to not have to scracht htere heads long about why we are no longer around to speak for ourselves= because bike funds got used for grafitti abatment for one!
