Los Angeles is a great place to ride a bike. We’ve got the weather, the favorable terrain, and with the passage of the 2010 Bike Plan, we will soon have even more facilities to make riding a bike in L.A. even more attractive. Now we need your help to get more pictures that show off how Angelenos ride in the City. Here are a few of the great pictures that group members have submitted to our tongue twisting (but descriptively named) “Bicyclists using bicycling facilities in the City of Los Angeles” Flickr group. Be sure to join and share your photos with us. Below the fold we present more photos and provide our group’s description.
What we use them for
We need great photos for our website, blog, and bicycle related reports. The LADOT Bike Program would like for you to share with us your pictures of people using bicycle facilities within the City of Los Angeles. This includes bicyclists making use of bike lanes, bike paths, and streets with shared lane markings (sharrows), as well as in-use bike racks (with bicycles parked on them).
