Update: Added link to bicycle rack request page.
On a recent Friday afternoon, we took Eve – one of our newest interns – out to mark racks along the historic Broadway corridor between Olympic Blvd. and 7th St.. Eve is a third year undergraduate Urban and Regional Planning student at Cal Poly Pomona. She is an avid cyclist and seems to have a 6th sense for where bike racks should go. Thanks to Eve’s help, we were able to mark 16 new bicycle parking spaces in front of a variety of commercial establishments ranging from restaurants to electronics centers, jewelry shops to a Reptile store. Special thanks to Rick Risemberg for his steadfast dedication in requesting locations for bicycle parking (you can request bike racks too).
so beautiful
