LADOT Bike Program 2010-2011/Year Zero Infrastructure Map
All infrastructure projects shown on this Google map are from the 2010-2011 fiscal years (called Year Zero in the 2010 LA Bike Plan). LADOT Bike Blog will periodically update the map when project pages are updated.
Google, unfortunately, does not allow us to embed their bicycle overlay on this map. If you click through to the Google map page, however, you will be able to turn on the bicycle overlay yourself.
DRAFT BPIT Priority 1 Package & Ongoing Projects Map
You can read on our BPIT Page about the “Priority 1 Package” projects identified by the Bike Plan Implementation Team. These projects are priority projects for the new bike plan, with some in design stages and some receiving environmental clearance for implementation. We will keep this map updated with all new BPIT priorities and shift projects to the infrastructure map as they go into design and construction phases.
LADOT Bike Program Rack Installation Map
This map is meant to show where LADOT has installed bicycle racks recently. From July of 2009 to August of 2010, LADOT was able to install over 450 bike racks through their AFE account. LADOT has secured a new funding account for rack installation and hopes to average 100 new installations a month for the rest of the year. As new racks are installed, we will update the map. Bicycle rack locations are shown in batches of 200; click through to the google page if you’d like to view them all.
LA County Sidewalk Riding Map
This map shows what cities in LA County allow riding your bike on the sidewalk, which prohibit it, which prohibit it in “business districts”, and which cities have no language in their municipal codes regarding bikes on the sidewalk.

I know this may be daunting, but it would be nice if the sidewalk riding map could be overlaid on a Google/bing map.
Great recommendation. We’ll get working on it.

So you guys installed a bike lane on Vineland N/B only a few months ago, but I can’t find it on a map, nor on a project list. What gives? Is it supposed to be a secret?
