The Bicycle Plan Implementation Team (BPIT) is back with a few new improvements. The first new quarterly format BPIT meeting will take place on October 4, 2011 at a new location and with more time allotted. The old BPIT venue on the 7th floor of City Hall was often too crowded for the well attended meetings. To remedy this, the October BPIT meeting will take place at the California Bear Credit Union Community Room at Caltrans District 7 Headquarters: 100 S Main Street, First Floor Los Angeles, CA 90012. This venue is much larger and should be able to accommodate everyone. The new quarterly format will now allow meetings to run longer (3 hours) than in the past. This will allow for more time to go over project updates, publicly submitted agenda items, and other bicycle related policies and programs that must be covered.
